Homepage of Stefan Rensing
We are located in Freiburg, Germany and work on the evolution of plants with a focus on the genome of the moss Physcomitrium (Physcomitrella) patens and plant and algae comparative genomics. Over the past decade we were interested in streptophyte evolution / early land plant evolution.
Stefan Rensing teaches plant cell biology and bioinformatics, including phylogeny and next generation sequencing.
